A number of customers have reported being contacted by a call centre, claiming to be from Microsoft.The "technician" then points out your computer is running slow and that it has virus infections, which they need to remove. Once they have done this via remote support, they install a number of 'fake' anti spyware programs and then make you pay £185 for the privilege.
